Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submitted article is free from plagiarism and other copyright infringements.
  • The submitted article has not been previously published, is not currently under review by another journal, and has not been submitted to another journal.
  • The submitted article should be in Microsoft Office format (.doc/.docx).
  • The submitted article has been written following the TEMPLATE guidelines, which can be downloaded from the Main Page of the OJS.

Checklist before Submission:

  • Check the Aims and Scope of the Journal of Technology Informatics and Engineering to ensure that your paper is suitable for submission.
  • Download the Microsoft Word template to prepare your manuscript.
  • Ensure that issues related to publication ethics, research ethics, copyright, authorship, etc., have been appropriately considered.
  • Confirm that all authors have approved the content of the submitted manuscript.
  • Ensure that the paper has not been submitted to any other journal.

Manuscript Preparation:

  • The manuscript should include the following sections: TITLE, ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION, LITERATURE REVIEW/RELATED WORK, METHOD, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, REFERENCES. The author can also submit a paper using IMRAD format (INTRODUCTION, METHOD, RESULTS, AND DISCUSSION).
  • The writing format must follow and conform to the JTIE template (download the template for your manuscript here).
  • Tables: Tables should have clear captions, be sequentially numbered, and be referenced in the body text. For example, Table I (caption), Table 2 (caption), etc. Table columns should have single-spaced text and no space before and after paragraphs.
  • Figures: Figures should have clear captions, be sequentially numbered, and be referenced in the body text. For example, Figure 1. (caption), Figure 2. (caption), etc. Figures should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
  • References: References should be numbered according to their order of appearance in the text, including in table captions and figure legends, and should be listed individually at the end of the manuscript. It is recommended to use a bibliography software package, such as Mendeley, to prevent typing errors and duplicate references. All citations included in the references must be cited throughout the body text. References should include at least 25 sources, with a minimum of 75% being relevant, up-to-date international journals/conferences published within the last five years from the date of the research conducted.
